Indiana Dunes National Park protects a unique landscape of towering sand dunes, beaches, wetlands, prairies, and forests along the southern shore of Lake Michigan. The park offers incredible biodiversity with more than 1,000 plant species and numerous ecosystems packed into a relatively small area.
